Great Isloic Desert

On the western side of the mountain in about the centre of the country, there is a vast desert covering a large amount of land. The mountains block off the moisture from reaching inland, so this area is very dry. During the day, the sun blasts over head, making the heat miserably unbearable, but at night, temperatures plunge quickly below freezing.
